What Happens After You Request an RF Quote?

The purchasing problem

Buyers need to know what a sourcing enquiry will produce and which decisions remain open. A saved enquiry reference confirms receipt in the RFVero system; it is not an accepted order or a promise of stock.

What changes the requirement

The enquiry should identify whether the request is for an exact part, a BOM, bulk purchasing or alternative evaluation. The resulting quotation should describe the offered MPN, quantity, packaging, price validity, reported lead time, documentation and any unresolved conditions.

Sourcing risks

A target delivery date is not a confirmed shipment commitment. Source evidence and inspection scope vary between offers. Changes after acceptance, cancellations and returns require written agreement; they should not be inferred from a website statement.

Before requesting a quotation

• Full MPN or sufficiently detailed requirements
• Quantity, company, email and required date
• Application and contact preference where helpful
• BOM or supporting files for multi-line requests
• Packaging, source documents and inspection requirements

A practical procurement approach

First, submit the requirement. Second, resolve identification and documentation questions. Third, review the written quotation and open conditions. Finally, agree order terms and delivery responsibilities before purchasing. Engineering approves any proposed substitute separately.
